Madelyn Eckhart
Owner/ Lead Designer
Madelyn has been in the high end design industry for 11+ years, designing custom homes and apartment lobbies. Her Bachelor’s in Interior Design with minors in Studio Art and English blend her love of artistry in all forms, from interiors to painting, learning ceramics, writing, and creating. Madelyn enjoys designing a space entirely unique to the personality of the client, using naturally beautiful finishes with detailed architectural designs to create a space unique to YOU.
Claire Ervin
Designer/ Procurement Lead
Claire began her design journey at Hoskins as an intern and quickly joined the team with her eye for detail and organization. Her years of experience in the restaurant and retail industry combined with her degree in design from Purdue Indianapolis taught her the importance of client relations and the need for process. Claire loves designing spaces that are not only beautiful, timeless, and comfortable, but also efficient and practical. She enjoys hunting for the perfect vintage accessory, spending times with her friends, her cats, and gardening.
Michael Wheeler
Designer
Michael joined Hoskins after working in kitchen and bath remodeling for four years. He studied Architecture, Interior Design, and Construction management at Indiana State University. By combining all three specialties of home design, Michael has a well-rounded understanding of all the puzzle pieces to put a design together. He thrives in the technicalities behind interior design, diving into the nitty-gritty to create a functional space. In his free time, Michael loves watching the Great British Bake Off and catching up on pop culture with friends.
Our Story
Hoskins has a long history in Indianapolis. Deanna Hoskins started the firm over 30 years ago, designing Indianapolis Dream Homes after leading the design team at a local furniture store. Kathy Hoskins acquired the firm and continued to introduce her interior architectural expertise into their projects. Together, they created a firm specializing in both furniture and architectural design. After 9+ years at the firm, Madelyn Eckhart took ownership. We have a supportive group of clients, contractors, furnishings suppliers and workrooms that we have developed over the years. We treasure these relationships as they have all contributed to our success today.
