Scale is at the center of every design scheme we create. We are firm believers in conceptual and scale drawings to help convey our vision to our clients and to provide clear instructions to the partners who help create the final products. We use drawings for space planning, furniture placement, cabinet design and elevations, drapery and window coverings, and much more. Any place where an image will be the clearest way to convey information we complete drawings. For the kitchen remodel shown above, laying out the proposed design helped our clients envision how their new kitchen would function.
Sometimes, these drawings can be quite detailed, such as for the project shown above. With large scale remodels, we find these more intricate visuals help our client fully understand the intended design. Colors, shapes, and flow can be clearly demonstrated, particularly when custom furniture choices are being made. How each piece fit into the overall design was immediately apparent when our clients viewed this conceptual drawing.
How do you clearly explain a concept that has yet to be created? We’d love to hear your tips! Leave a comment below, or send us an email.
